“Hope is found somewhere after the pain”

I believe we are wounded in relationship and healed in relationship. My passion is to create a space of intentional engagement where through safe connection, care, and honesty, within the therapeutic relationship, clients are able to become the whole person they are made to be.

Since 2014 I have been working in various professional and helping capacities with individuals and families dealing with relational and spiritual trauma, addiction, sexual compulsivity, women’s issues, relational conflict, and life phase adjustment.

I engage in a trauma-informed, person-centered approach, and integrate tools from psychodynamic attachment based theory. I believe our stories are intricately complex, full of beauty and pain. In humble recognition of everything we have to learn, I eagerly attend to others’ stories both beautiful and bitter, motivations both virtuous and dark, and growth both inward and outward.

When I’m not counseling, you’ll find me watching sitcoms with my husband, going on walks with my daughter, cooking with friends, reading an interior design book, or trying new restaurants around town.

Megan is a LPC-MHSP (temp) working under the supervision of Ashley Boyd, LPC-MHSP-S.
